The Highrise Volleyball Club successfully hosted its Labor Day Friendly Tournament, bringing together competitive teams from Strathmore University (Ladies & Gents), UON (Ladies & Gents), KMTC Kenyatta Campus, Qwetu Residents, and Aberdare Heights II (Ladies & Gents). As hosts, we fielded two male teams and our junior team, showcasing our growing talent pool.

In a display of skill and determination, Strathmore University Panthers (Ladies) emerged as the overall winners in their category after defeating UON Vixens 2-0 (25:16, 25:21). On the men’s side, Strathmore University triumphed over Highrise in a hard-fought final, winning 2-1 (25:23, 19:25, 25:21).

This marks the second edition of our friendly tournaments, which continue to foster all-round improvement, teamwork, and competitive spirit in volleyball. We appreciate all participating teams and look forward to hosting even more squads in future events!
